I would say go for the UD3R. I recently (two weeks ago) bought one and I have never been happier. It's great for the price and took my E8400 from 3.0 GHz to 4.0 GHz on air cooling.
My brother and best friend both have CoD:WaW and say that it is disappointing compared to CoD4. I would say wait to pick one and instead get L4D in a few months when the price comes down to a more reasonable one for such a small content game.
Best Buy makes me sick enough as it is, but conning old people and innocent mothers, who are simply trying to do the right thing for their children by buying them a new system, into paying for some bullshit installation is a completely different ball game.
This is simply disgusting.
Like I said before, graphics aren't really anything to think about. Contrary to popular belief, the Source Engine is only capable of so much. If we were talking about Crysis on the Xbox360 vs. on the PC, I would say go for PC as it will get you a much better visual experience. That isn't the...
They will be graphically equivalent, but if you own most games for the 360 instead of the PC, it might make sense to continue the trend, or if you have money to throw around; get both!
I feel like they really need to add some innovative game play elements if they are going to keep the audiences from previous games, while attracting new audiences.
The first game was great, because at the time, it was graphically advanced. Now that F.E.A.R. is no longer at the top of the...
I've noticed a whole lot of GSkill users, but not many Corsair Dominator users...
Does anyone have experience with Corsair Dominator memory, at least 8GB worth?
But if you have the money, you might as well go for let's say...a Dell 30" Ultrasharp.
Then again, it also depends on what you are going to use your screen for. If you want maximum gaming resolutions, then don't go with the 23".
Considering most decent 30" LCDs are 2x-4x the price of either one of these 23" monitors, you can probably get a lot better for your money. It wouldn't make sense to even have this as one of your options...
Damn! They both look so sexy, but if I had to chose one, I would probably go with the Dell....
I just believe the Dell will be far overpriced compared to the Samsung model.
Do you recommend a specific CPU, or just any of the higher end dual cores?
That budget of $500 is for CPU only, so extra money could go into an extra GPU, but my first concern with that money in mind is that I get the best CPU for my buck.
Thanks alg7 munif!
If I have a budget of $500 (USD) for my processor alone, is there any logical reason for me to chose AMD over Intel?
I'm curious about AMD's top of the line CPU and how it will compare to Intel's midrange CPU's.
Keep in mind that I will be concerned with gaming mainly, and really have no...
