Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Maybe a generic recommendation, but No Man's Sky fits all of the 'tags' you listed. I'm not so sure it aligns with the 'styles' of the other games you listed, and it can be an acquired taste in ways, but it does check boxes.
Outward was pretty neat, but I remember it being pretty janky, too...
Hard not to wonder if that last part is specifically why this is being released. Hopefully they do it justice. Interested but cautious--CDPR has a good record, but so did many other once-greats.
Do people not understand what the term profit means?
"Gross/net profit" is not a thing.
"Gross profit" is a misnomer for "revenue"
"Net profit" is a misnomer for... "profit"
Revenue - expenses = profit
What happens is, you run it and get root anyway. No sudo or elevated privilege needed.
You could also download the Python script manually. It's on their github, and it's what is curl'd from that url.
This. Any user can paste the one-liner to curl and run the script. Boom, root shell. Takes 3 seconds.
All the ragebait headlines posted in this subforum, and this "any idiot can/copy and paste into godmode" seems to get little attention.
If I read correctly, it was disclosed behind closed doors a month ago to allow time for patch development.

Enjoyed this game. That said, the characterization that is is a TC of Divinity Original Sin 2 is fully accurate. I could tolerate that since I liked the D:OS games a lot, but I would have preferred it felt less like a clone.
Some pretty glaring bugs, too. Maybe they got patched, but attempting...
I forget exactly what ARM CPUs are being used on the Oracle infrastructure, but they allow a surprisingly high amount of resources on their free tier. 4 CPU (ARM, either 2.8 or 3.2 GHz I want to say?), 24GB RAM, and 1Gbps NIC per CPU. Then on top of that two free x86 shitboxes with...
This made me aware of how out of date some of my game awareness is. I read "button mappings" and thought, They copied "Press A, The Game but I guess Pokemon has evolved past Game Boy controls.
By any chance are any of these quasi-drm-free (as in, can run after buying without using steam as the launcher)? I bought Red Alert and the original C&C on Origin when they released there, and I had a bit of buyer's remorse for needing to use the launcher. GoG has spoiled me I guess.
If you use uBlock Origin, you might try experimenting with [right click] > [block element]. Success will vary between sites, but you can clean up quite a bit of stuff this way.
>edit: I may have misunderstood what you meant. What I'm referring to will potentially hide the entire suggestion...
