read your users manual it clearly states how to make the voltage manualy adjustable. (i speak from experiance i had the same problem with mine) i dont mean to sound like a jackass but it really cleared up a lot when i read it.

my friends moms g5 recently stopped working and i want to jump the psu and check for voltage incase its just the psu thats dead. Is there a way to jump it like on a pc? I think the mobo is gone but i want to be sure the psu isnt dead first.
John
meta i take back what i called you in my previous reply (other post) i just took it too seriously i guess back on topic i think ati is going down the drain there latest drivers are system hogs definatly staying with nvidia at least until next cycle.
John
at least we dont have to live in constant fear...... ok if you dont like ati its personal opinion i personaly like nvidia better anyways but to say it makes you hate canadians makes you an idiot..
John
if you didnt take of your heatsink yet and you do manage to get into the bios go check you cpu temp. If its like anything higher than 60deg shut down right away you know bad contact with cpu.
