Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

It's definitely not new tech. From the specs listed on Nvidia's site, it looks to be a GeForce 210 for OEM's
Just curious, what is it about the Stacker do you not like? Personally, I've loved my Stacker since day one, and don't see myself having to 'upgrade' for a long time.
Are you serious? OF COURSE it's better than the GTX 285. You're comparing a new generation video card to old, outdated technology. Also, the GTX 285 should, in no way possible, compete with an HD5870. If AMD had released a high end chip that was head-to-head with nvidia's "last year's tech"...
I would say a GTX 260 is overkill for 1280 x 1024. I'm guessing you mainly play games with your rig? A 9800GT should perform just fine at that resolution.
Maybe you just have REALLY bad luck? I've got a an XFX GTX 285 XXX Edition OC'd a little beyond the Black Edition Specs (700/1350/1600), and I've never had issues with overheating while keeping the fan on 'auto' settings (i.e. I don't have to jack it up to 100% in Riva Tuner), and this is in a...

Wouldn't you figure that [H] users who only have Macs (is there really an [H] user that only uses a Mac, and if so why are they even on [H]?) would have already posted in the thread in the Apple Products forum?
Got an HX1000 here, and I love it. I don't see myself having to upgrade my PSU any time soon, since I'm not doing anything to wild. Anyway, I'm glad to see Corsair is expanding their HX line of PSUs.
I think the main concern is actually voltage on the FSB, as CPU FSB voltage (VTT) should be lower than 1.4v. As long as the CPU's temps are good, having a vcore at 1.4 won't outright kill it. It might shorten the life a bit, but I don't think I'll have this setup long enough for that to...
