lol thats my system pratically, i haven't tried CoD2 yet, but fear demo, oh man its sweet game. but then again ive heard the demo doesn't do justice. so ionno. soo far its sweet
if they would fit on any other SLI board then i don't see why it won't fit on the Premium board. the asus preimium board has one of the BEST clearence between PCI-Expresss slots out there.
the Asus A8N-SLI Premium is a better motherboard. its basically a step up from the delux. it has passive cooling, and wider spaces between PCI-E slots, as well no jumper. board goes like this: best>better>good>normal
A8N32>Premium>Deluxe>A8N(non-deluxe)
preformance wize, if you plan to...
right now i have a 485w noisetaker, and my system is probably just as demanding as you, and i can overclock pretty decent with my system and still have ROCK solid railings all across the board. so im guessing the 600w will be plenty :)
it seems my 485w powersupply is showing its age. and i need to upgrade to a higher end powersupplys, heres what ive been looking at:
OCZ 520w powerstream powersupply
OCZ 600w powerstream powersupply
Enermax 600w Noisetaker powersupply
Seasonic S12-600 600W powersupply
Antec TruePower 2.0...
man it sucks not comming with a floppy, i have 2x80gig Sata hard drives, and i had to install windows on a extra hard drive, make the drivers disk, then install windows again.
if you look at the image quality of the X18xxx, its slightly better then the 78xxx, hence the slight preformance in favor of the 7800. but honestly, if the 7800 is cheaper and probably more wider in availability, might as well get that. i don't think you'll notice it in the game.
ok i think 6800gt is the card to get! its a leadtek AGP version, i can't wait to get it! if i can get it to ultra speeds or faster, i'll be a happy man!
i have a choice between a x800xl (brand new) and 6800GT (second hand, but unopened box), their about the same price (give or take $20). which should i pick? i plan to overclock as much as i can. any suggestions?
