RTX 3xxx performance speculation
Happy to see that the responses to this question were all reasonable. I was worried. So ... the more apt comparison is 2 graphics cards based on the same chip. Their components are largely the same but with slightly different i/o. I applaud you for spending $4k to play video games though. When I bought my C9 the AW55 wasn't out yet and I wasn't convinced it was going to... -

I have the exact same setup but with a narrower desk and a SFF case. Curious how you got VRR working already? The latest C9 firmware update isn't available yet in my region (Canada) unless I mess around with a USB stick upgrade. Once it is available for download is it just a matter of running... -

Questions for C9 OLED guys
I'm playing Apex Legends at 1440p@120Hz with a C9 and 2080ti. Looks great to me. I sit about 3.5-4ft back. Looking forward to the LG firmware update that enables VRR. I'll upgrade to a HDMI 2.1 GPU when they come out but for now this is pretty close to the best setup possible imo. -

Or a star field in HDR. I've got a 65" C7 for Netflix/Amazon Video and just bought a 55" C9 as a monitor. Super happy with both. -

32" 16:9 monitor too big for Gaming?
Using 55" LG C9 OLED. Sitting about 3 feet back. It's awesome. Can't wait for HDMI 2.1 cards to arrive so I can move to 4k@120Hz. -

Couldn't wait. Just ordered LG 55" C9 OLED. Arrives tomorrow. I currently have a 980ti so I wouldn't be able to use the DP 1.4 interface on this Alienware anyway. I'm planning to run 1440p@120Hz using HDMI 2.0 for now. Will upgrade video card once HDMI 2.1 cards come out. Really looking...
