Grandma Endures Wrongful ISP Piracy Suspension

I agree. I think it's a matter of education. My parents cannot assemble a computer, nor can they set up a router. They just want to be able to surf and use a laptop wirelessly. They are learning, but there is a limit. Most of us here take for granted that this stuff is matter-of-fact...

Grandma Endures Wrongful ISP Piracy Suspension

Not surprising at all and BayTSP is out of control. I got a warning from Cox a year ago and got the information that BayTSP was accusing me of downloading an old version of MS Office. In good faith, I contacted TSP and was replied to with nothing short of venom and threats. Turned out my...

    Gigabyte ga-ep45-ud3P motherboard

Me too, the egg has a nice combo deal on the board and processor. I'm considering putting 4 gigs of memory in, even though I'm running XP Pro. Any suggestions? I know the board supports DDR2-1333, but will it really be worth it? Oh, and yes, I'll probably bump up the GPU in the near future. TIA...

    Looking for opinions, GA-EP45-UD3P

MB in my sig rig died a few months back, leaving the HD's, vid and sound cards. I have a little "hazard pay" coming my way Friday and have decided to build a rig to get me through another year or so. Anywho, I'm looking at getting the UD3P and E8500. I'm considering putting 4 gigs of memory...

Where is all this "untapped raw power" PS3?

I hate to ask a stupid question, but what is the big deal about 30fps vs 60fps? Is one a requirement of HD content? I thought they human eye/brain could not tell the difference much past 30fps anyway? Sorry if this has already been addressed in this thread.

    perhaps the government will help

I have to agree with some of your points, but everyone did NOT get the debit card. Those got flushed early on. I live in Baton Rouge and was a responder in NO and I can say that in no way was the Federal Gov't wholly responsible...t'was the wonderful Governess and Mayor McCheese that twiddled...
