this thing is seriously bright out of the box!... i haven't been playing very many games recently, and turned down the brightness to 0, and it's still so much brighter than my lcd on my laptop. it's amazing...
thanks for your help guys. i was hoping it'd be a simple mistake on my part in getting the lcd to work, but after talking with tech support at sceptre for about an hour they finally told me just to send it to them and they'll send me a new one.
