    If it is ESXi, you cannot do anything with the storage. Assign a new vDisk to the existing VM and provision the store out and simply share it out through the existing OS installation.

    Keep in mind this will also lock the VM to the host and prevent vMotion. Disable any HA/VM Monitoring if enabled on this specific VM.

    You will want to copy the entire VM folder. Once imported into the new host, add it to the inventory by right-clicking the VMX file. Before booting the VM simply go into the VM settings and either remove or "unconnect" the NIC.
