    i remember it used to be a bit of work: uninstall previous driver boot into safe mode run driver cleaner reboot install new driver there used to be a handy sticky thread here but now that its gone does that mean all that work is not necessary anymore?

    same dns server this has been a known problem since we first installed vista in our unit but now its back because one of our vista users needs this taken care of or she will have to have xp reinstalled

    no response from a ping nslookup of the subdomain comes back as an alias fiddler gives me this: Fiddler: DNS Lookup for test.server failed.

    I have a handful of vista machines at work and none of them can access one of our subdomains. I've already unchecked IP6 and google isnt turning up anything useful. I'm hoping someone here may know something.

    app times out due to very large number of rows in db

    running windows and sql server 2000 we have a table with nearly 3million rows one suggestion was to split the tables by date do you guys have other suggestions?
