Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've run source (Half-Life 2) on an Nvidia 6100 laptop, and it worked great. It was low settings, i think like 720x480 or 1024x600, but it was getting 30-60fps, and completely playable. That was paired with a Turion X2 1.6ghz and 1.5gb RAM in Windows XP.

The QL series are S1g2. No go.
The highest I would go with that laptop is a TL-56 or -58. (1.8 and 1.9 ghz respectively). Much higher than that and the heat would likely become an issue, as would power draw.
Quick Update:
I did the Aluminum Foil fix for the graphics card heat pipe and applied some silver thermal paste for my TL-56. Temps stay rock steady at 61-64*C on the GPU when you're not doing anything 3D intensive, up to 82*C when under load. It cools off VERY quickly once it's not being...
Excellent. Once I get my student loan stuff set up, I'll probably spring for one.
What drivers are you using then? the XT5300T has an 8600, so I am not sure your will work for me...
I've got the Dox Customized 185.65 for XP from www.laptopvideo2go.com
