Well I had an extra mouse that is USB and that didn't work either. So it has to be something wrong with my USB, not the mp3 player. Bought the computer at one of those computer stores that builds it's own systems. Drivers all seem to be fine, no problems show up in Device manager, and in BIOS...
Tried to use it for the first time and nothing seems to work. All the drivers seem to be there, I have no errors under Device Manager. I have the USB Legacy thing ENABLED in my BIOS. I even tried a second USB device and still nothing seems to work. I tried all 6 of my ports, (2 front, 4 back)...

no, nothing else on my computer is USB right now. Yeah I guess I have a bootlegged copy. My old roommate installed it on my computer so I didn't think it was until SP2 wouldn't install.
No it doesn't say enhanced anywhere, but the disk that came with the mp3 player says 1.0 and it doesn't install. The disk also says Windows 98SE and I have XP, would that even make a difference if both were USB 1.0?
