I'm building a new watercooling setup using Fractal R6 case, however the old reservoir tube plexi and top plexi is cracked & started leaking (Alphacool Eisbecher 150mm D5).
Now my options are:
Option 1. Buy a new 105mm alphacol Eisbecher tube + Eisbecher top and just replace them, less work...
Does anyone know if it's true that the Benq version is much better versus samsung when it comes to eyestrain?
From what I have understood the Samsung uses PWM for under 30% brightness while the Benq never uses PWM.
The Samsung is slightly cheaper in my country but I might go for the Benq...
the Asus ROG Swift is by many considered the best TN panel made and it is 27".
my 24" TN panel has for me good colors, I'm sure a 32" TN would for me have good colors aswell if made by Asus or Benq.
fwiw I currently have a 24" TN in middle and two 23" IPS to the sides :)
I think you are saying this because the 29" version can be overclocked to 85hz without frame skip?
The 29" 21:9 is stretched out 23.3" 16:9, while the 34" is 27.3" stretched out 16:9.
looking as I currently use 3x 16:9 monitor setup: 23" 24" 23", I would like to replace 2 displays with one...
NCX do you know why the Qnix can?
It's still same panel and using DVI/DP/HDMI?
Still my impression is that a 85hz IPS / AMVA is not equal to a TN 85hz for FPS gaming experience because various reasons responce time and input lag being two reasons.
There should be noticable difference between 60 fps/hz and 87 fps/hz.
the difference from 60fps ---> 88fps is actually much more noticable then difference from 88fps ---> 144fps.
But I think another problem could be AMVA & IPS have inferior response time and input lag vs TN, so maybe that is...
thanks, thats a nice suggestion.
Seems like I will have to wait until Qnix or other Korea manufacturer releases the AMVA 32" panel with ONLY DVI so that it can be overclocked to 80+ hz.
If a IPS /AMVA display has 88hz with no frame skipping would it feel like a TN panel with 88hz?
I'm...
I'm eager to upgrade to a larger screen but was hoping to also game on the display aswell.
Is there any upcoming displays that will do atleast 80hz and are 30" or larger?
Has anyone tried overclocking succesfully and if so what hz and does it skip frames while gaming?
I'm considering either the Acer or Benq.
I think the sweet spot would be 80-88hz for me not sure if it's doable however.
