    Do you have an SD card installed? Perhaps there's some shadow copy of some sorts still on that card? Like temp files or cache files.

    Best way is setting up the home group as described above (follow the link). Then share a directory on the tablet and/or the PC. Then it is a matter of drag n drop the files.

    It has windows 10. Treat it like a full blown PC. I don't think a PC can recognize another PC via USB like that. This would require setting up windows share directories or similar. If you're using the same Windows live account, you can transfer via OneDrive.
