Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The led could be broken, but I don't think this is very likely. More likely is that you connected the led inversely. Leds have a polarity and won't work when you connect them the other way around. If not, you can always swap power and hdd led on your mobo to test if it's the led or the mobo that...
I am planning on buying an aquaero (http://www.aqua-computer.de/e_content/e_aquaero.htm) for my new 'high flow' watercooling setup.
The pump would be a laing DDC1+ controlled by AC poweradjust USB (http://www.aqua-computer.de/e_content/e_aquaero.htm).
The waterblocks would be D-Tek Fuzion v2...
Just found out that the TC PA 120.3 doesn't fit in the Cosmos S case without modification. The space between the fans is too big to use the predrilled holes.
The TFC 360 on the other hand fits without modification.
It's not too hard to mod the case so that the PA 120.3 will fit, but still...
Thx for the tips.
I am definitely going for the G1/4" aquatube. I'll just have to buy my stuff in two different shops...
The tubing I was referring to as 10mm is in fact Tygon 9.5mmx1.6mm or 3/8"ID 1/2"OD. I meant 10mm ID. My mistake.
Very interesting remark about the radiator. The TFC...
Hey guys,
I'm about to buy a WC setup to fit in my Cosmos S, but I'm having some questions for witch I cannot find an answer...
My planned setup would look like this:
- Laing DDC-1plus (G1/4")
- PA 120.3 (G3/8") + 3 x Scythe S-Flex SFF21F
- AC poweradjust USB
- AC aquaero OLED...
Could be RAM also
faulty RAM can also prevent your PC from booting.
If it doesn't beep when you try starting it up there are several things that can be broke:
CPU / RAM / MoBo / PSU
Since you already swapped PSU and CPU the only things left are MoBo or RAM
next thing you could do is...
If you where thinking on buying a socket AM2 you'll need new RAM also.
In that case I would certainly go for a Core 2 Duo. They are simply way better than X2.
I found a Intel Core2 Duo E4300 (1.86) 2048KB Socket 775 for 165€ at http://tones.be where I buy all my stuff. That's about...
Is there gonna be a big difference between the two setups?
1) 1 x HW Labs Black Ice Xtreme 120mm Rad & 1 x HW Labs Black Ice Pro 120mm Rad.
2) 1 x Swiftech MCR-320 "Quiet Power" Series Rad.
The second one is gonna be better, but I doubt it's gonna be possible to install it nicely inside...
Thx for the reply.
I was also thinking about 2 radiators. the easyest way would be to put a thin single pass radiator in front of the hard drives as you said... I have 5,5cm and the current fan (papst) is about 3cm.
The HW Labs Black Ice Pro 120mm Radiator is 25mm thick so it might just...
I am planning on installing WC on my system, mainly because I like a cool looking PC and I don't like the noise that my rigg is making....
first I'll specify my setup:
DFI NF4 SLI-DR
AMD X2 4400 (socket 939 / running at 250*10=2500Mhz) Cooled by Zalman CNPS9700
2*1GB OCZ PC4000 Platinum EB...
