    Found some affordable ram for the Microserver (even works in N36L) which actually works - 16GB / 2x8GB UDIMMS You can get it in the UK here. KVR1333d3N9-8G And yes, it does work just fine and is cheap and cheerful

    I am using Adaptec cards on all my Microserver - they all come with additional low profile plates .. Have a look at their product page for external port ones - but downside is - they aren't cheap ..

    I have been back and forth on that one and tried to find the "catch" - the guy over the phone did mention the cashback and also said he makes sure the invoice is dated prior the 31st and makes sure it is being delivered before. Now I have been myself through the T&Cs of the cashback...
