    Boot frustration- DG965WH

    I have this same motherboard and was also having the same slow Boot issue at the Intel logo screen. I think this happens sometimes when adding new hardware. Anyway I fixed it buy loading optimal setting in the bios. Then reset everything to the way I like. Now its nice and fast again :)

    I maybe getting a Nforce 4 motherboard that does not have any FireWire connectors on the board. But I do have a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS which has firewire. My PC case has a place to hook Firewire in the front I/O ports. Would my Audigy 2 ZS hook up to that?
