Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi all,
I have a ASUS SLI premium board and I updated the BIOS recently to 1008. I've also updated my chipset to v6.5 as suggested in the instructions on the ASUS site.
Ok so everything was working for a while, windows was happy then ka-explosion! blue screen!! After rebooting itself and...
Hey guys!
I updated my wind0ze to SP2 and sure enough under drive management the rest of my HD was there unallocated :D
Thanks everybody who posted in here :D
Blow dryer is sufficient. It just takes a very very very very long time. I personally use a lighter. I weave it back and forth pretty quick so stuff doesn't melt. As for sizes, get bigger heat shrink than you need because as the name implies... it does shrink :p
The drive on my SATA options does not seem to have the LBA access mode option. It is either "Auto" or "Large"
However, my IDE options do have LBA access mode options.
does that mean my SATA does not suport LBA?
Hi All,
I recently bought an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium and I'm trying to hook up my WD 200GB to it. (full system on sig)
When I was trying to install Wind0ze on it, I noticed that windows was picking up my drive as only around 130GBs... strange. Ok whatever maybe I'm just too tired or something...
Perhaps there are USB2.0 drivers on the CD that came with your MSI board? I know for my Asus board I had to first get SP2 then install the USB2.0 drivers that came with my board before it would work
