Just picked up my 3 new monitors (eizo ev2736). Looking for an app to check for dead pixels. Will check for backlight bleeding later tonight when its dark. Anything else i should do? I guess you need hardware to calibrate right?
I'm just about to order 3 new monitors with a resolution of 2560x1440 (EIZO FLEXSCAN EV2736W 27").
At the moment I have a single ASUS GeForce GTX 670 2048MB DirectCUII in my rig.
I plan to play with Nvidia surround (or eyefinity). I'm not a hardcore gamer so I can live with gfx at medium...
Finally decided on spec on my new displays.
I will use them for gaming with Nvidia surround(or eyefinity), programming, photoshop, and some surfing.
Resolution should be 2560x1440 and it would also be nice to have pivot and VESA.
Doesn't hurt it the bezel is thin eiter ;).
If i filter a...
I'd love to get a 120hz but having 3x120hz display might be a bit demanding on the hardware so i think i'll settle for 60 this time around.. Found these IPS with low laency/lag.. Asus PA279Q and Eizo FlexScan EV2736W. Any thoughts?
Googling around and hearing your thoughts I think I'll drop the 120hz thought, I probably spend 80% of the time outside of gaming anyways doing other stuff enjoying the extra screen real-estate. Money is not really an issue and I think 2560x1440 would be nice to have.
And even though i sometimes...
Im thinking about buying a 3 monitor setup for gaming (fps, mmorpg), production(programming texteditor, photoshop, cubase).
Is 120hz worth it? Im coming from a single 24"@60hz monitor so maybe the triple 27" display is upgrade enough - im not a hardcore gamer anymore but i got some cash to...
Looking for a silent harddrive of atleast 2TB storage - preferably 3.
My MB (P8Z77-V Deluxe) supports SSD caching, I was wondering if using a 5400RPM together with a 256GB SSD cache could work as well?
Trying to figure out which drive I should buy for my new P8Z77-V Deluxe rig.
Looking for a high-end drive with good performance, about 250GB in size - money isn't an issue.
If there are any new SSDs being released in the near future (M5S comes to mind) I have an old 120GB SSD i can use till...
I'm looking for a low noise PSU of 750W.
Money isn't an issue and I'd rather pay a bit extra for quality.
It will be poweing an ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE + 3770K CPU with some OC and SLI.
Even if I OC?
I mean if the difference is 2 seconds on a 60 second task it really doesn't matter.
I see the venegance is popular - maybe I'll go with those.. Gonna try hunt down some recent roundup reviews..
I'm building a new rig and it's time to chose some good RAM sticks.
This is the setup:
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K 3,5Ghz (Ivy Bridge)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 CPU + Noctua NM-I3 Mounting-Kit
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Black
MB: ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE
Obviously I need it to fit next to...
I think I'm gonna go with a D14, and replace the fans with some PWR ones. Any recomendations of quite pwr fans?
Edit: NH-D14 SE2011 (PWM) + Noctua NM-I3 Mounting-Kit should do the trick!
