Quick question. I changed my DRAM Frequency to 1330 MHz which gives me the 2:8. If i go lower i get 2:6 and higher gives me 2:10. I then went into DRAM timing control and switch the CAS-TRCD-TRP to 8 clocks, the TRAS to 24 and the TRFC to 88. Is that ok to do with the cpu being overclocked?
Yes i did. When I change my Dram frequency, there is no option that will get me memory timings of 8. Do I have to key them in manually? If so how can I achieve this?
My options for Dram freq are 13xx, 17xxm, and the rest above 1700MHz.
Ok stupid question, the Vcore voltage is the CPU voltage right? Also what is a decent setting for DRAM frequency. When i first made this thread it was 1644, and i switched it to 1304. Which would be the better setting of the two? Lastly i did drop the CPU voltage to 1.24 and the temp went...
I am using air cooling. Have a Xigmatek Dark Knight and the fans that came with the case. I also just ran this CPU cooldown test through Real Temp. Here are the results.
Also what would be a good setting for the voltage? Thanks for the replies, greatly appreciated.
Hello everyone. I just built a new i7 system and absolutely love it. I am now trying to do some overclocking but i am afraid i am a turd when coming to overclocking. I gave it a shot and it seems to be running ok. (No crashes or anything) I was wondering if things looked alright...
I will be doing a little overclocking. I will have to look into a modular power supply as well. I have one currently and it is pretty nice. As for an operating system, I wanted to just use XP until windows 7 came out. Not sure what the drawbacks of using XP would be though.
Hello everyone. I'm going to be building a new computer within the next 3 weeks and was wondering everyone's thoughts on the items that I have chosen. It's been about 6 years since my last computer and I am still running on AGP and single core. I mainly play games (WoW, Call of Duty, and...
The card is funny seated. When the music plays its all distorted and heavy crackling. I've never had this problem and it does it in both my headphones and 7.1 speakers.
Hmm..... it seems as if a new problem has arise. I run a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS with the current drivers and my sound is all distorted and messed up. I basically have no sound and you can barely hear it. Any reasons why I have no sounds? Does it have to do with me changing the memory?
I want to thank all of you for the help as i have solved the problem. I now ran 67000 IN AQUAMARK which is 16K higher. It turns out i had my Memory in the DIMM 2 and DIMM 3 slot. I was able to switch them around and run them at 200Mhz instead of 100MHz.
I haven't really made any headway. I was thinking about going to the ASUS 1007 bios since the 1008 bios i have is Beta. Also i am trying to decide if i should update the CPU driver to the one listed on the AMD site. The one i have now is from Microsoft, so i am a bit confused on that.
I can...
