For the price there is no reason to buy this over a 1080ti or RTX 2070. AMD must be smoking crack if they think people will stump up over $600 for a card that barely beats an already overpriced RTX 2070.

Even the good old AMD R9 390 has 8GB and Nvidia is still conning their customers with 6Gb. Sad times.

If the Ryzen 2 leaks are close to the truth then AMD will be a strong stock soon. They will be taking marketshare away from Intel which is huge. Apparently only a 10% increase in cpu market share would make AMD more money than the whole of the GPU market. I'm definitely set on buying a Ryzen2...

They have sucessfully shifted all the gpu prices up a level so a GTX 960 level card like the 1060 is priced like a previous gen GTX 970 level card. I expect them to try it again and price the GTX 1160 close to the GTX 1070.
