VRoamer Generates On-The-Fly VR Experiences While Walking Through Buildings

Yes, can see people beating up real people who they think are in-game enemies. This system looks like it will get people in trouble.

Florida Introduces "Stop Social Media Censorship Act"

Are you feeling ok? The current legislation allows for censorship/removal of such videos so why would the left or right be allowed? Some level of intelligence required to understand the simple concept I guess.

Florida Introduces "Stop Social Media Censorship Act"

I suspect this new proposal is to allow the far right to spread the NZ massacre video and other such material. If that is the case then no one should have a problem when someone shares the numerous ISIS beheading videos too. I bet they will move straight to ban them though.

Raja Koduri Discusses Leaving AMD for Intel in Interview

This is the same guy who thinks those graphics in the indian Bahuballi movie are state of the art. Not getting my hopes up for anything spectacular with him at the helm.

Der8auer Tries to Overclock Radeon VII

For the price there is no reason to buy this over a 1080ti or RTX 2070. AMD must be smoking crack if they think people will stump up over $600 for a card that barely beats an already overpriced RTX 2070.

Battlefield V NVIDIA Ray Tracing RTX 2060 Performance @ [H]

A Free-to-Play Titanfall Battle Royale Game Will Be Out Soon

It failed because they launched it at Christmas time when the big guns like COD and Battlefield series are the main sellers. If they had any sense they would have launched during a quite period of the year when gamers are looking for something new. This F2P game is also scheduled for a Q4...

Metro Review-Bombed: Dev Threatens Next Game Won't Be on PC If Sales Are Low

I reckon the devs have a PS5 development kit hence the threat. The next consoles would be powerful enough to showcase their next case and probably generate more sales.

IBM CEO: Hiring Based on Skills Instead of College Degrees Vital for the Future of Tech

Imagine spending years studying for a degree and being rejected for a job in favour of someone who left school at 16 and gained some 'skills' the company is interested in. You'd have to ask yourself if it was worth paying for further education. I suspect the degree holder would progress much...

EA Stock Plummets by $21 Billion as Battlefield V Sales Disappoint

How about if they give some attention to a single player game like BFBC3? They are losing many players who are sick and tired of online multiplayer only games.

NVIDIA Leads the Race to the Bottom As Its Stock Takes a 54% Hit in 4Q18

If the Ryzen 2 leaks are close to the truth then AMD will be a strong stock soon. They will be taking marketshare away from Intel which is huge. Apparently only a 10% increase in cpu market share would make AMD more money than the whole of the GPU market. I'm definitely set on buying a Ryzen2...

Rumors Suggest Nvidia Could Launch Turing Cards Without Raytracing

They have sucessfully shifted all the gpu prices up a level so a GTX 960 level card like the 1060 is priced like a previous gen GTX 970 level card. I expect them to try it again and price the GTX 1160 close to the GTX 1070.

CS:GO Receives 14,000 Negative Steam Reviews in a Single Day after Going Free to Play

Bethesda Bans Fallout 76 Players for Life after Shocking In-Game Homophobic Attack

How did they find out the other players were gay? From the video it looks like the gay player was dressed in a stereotypical gay outfit highlighting his sexual orientation in the game so would be an obvious target for homophobes. Same would probably happen with racial indicents I guess. If you...

    No Man's Sky Visions Trailer

The game is far better than it's launch state now. The new update coming tomorrow looks nice and should make it even better. PlayStation 5 Rumored to Sport Ryzen 8-Core CPU, Cost $500

It would have to be a true 8 core Ryzen to give a decent performance upgrade from a Ps4 Pro or XBOne X. They will need to target 4K 60fps for PS5. It will be a laughing stock if it can't achieve that when XBone X already does it in some games. A 4 core chip would be seen as a step backwards.

AMD Radeon RX 590 Graphic Card Releasing November 15th

Maybe AMD should move on to higher 4 digit numbers for the naming of their cards. I suspect there will be people who see the number 1050 is higher than 570/580 and go for the 1050 xD. Nvidia knows how to play the mindshare game.

NVIDIA Previews Real-Time Ray Tracing with Vulkan

They are adding hardware specific extensions to Vulkan which is not good at all. Do you think this extension is going to work with AMD or even older Nvidia cards? Once devs use these extensions the games will run worse on AMD cards.

Hardware Unboxed Analyzes Intel's Commissioned Core i9-9900K Benchmarks

What this means is that Intel has given the testers some 'recommended settings' to replicate their in-house results. The blame appears to lie squarely with Intel here. The fact that Intel is claiming 50% better performance than the 2700X suggests that this is no mistake. Surely blatant...
