    Need a 19 in lcd for my dad---need recomendations

    Diddo on the Dell...have a 1905 FP 19" with the AUO panel in it. Absolutely thrilled to death with this monitor. No ghosting, no dead pixels, 8ms response time, 16.7 color (8 bit) and both analog/dvi inputs. Bought mine for $315.... watch for the Dell coupons floating around the net.

    Thanks.... so I was missing something... :-) It doesn't seem to want to go above 223 on overclocking, however, the vpu will oc from 400 to 455... is this recommended?

    Although this is an older card, I wanted something under $100, but, this 9600 Pro Radeon Atlantis is supposed to have 400 core speed and 446 memory speed and according to all the utilities it is only running at 223 memory speed. Did I get screwed or is there something I am missing here? TIA

    I didn't ask for the AUO but got it, happily. I don't know that there is a guarantee but maybe if you call them and ask specifically for the AUO panel they will send it. I kinda think that it is the new standard for the 1905's from what I have read of late. You can call their customer support...

    Yah... I called customer support and they are quoting the old Samsung panel they used to use. The correct panel comes up in the monitor under the factory selection and the AUO M190EN03 V0 and can be confirmed at this link as an 8ms, 8 bit 16.7 color panel...
