Picked mine up when BB dropped the price.....my local BB already had sold 3 when I picked up mine at 9pm that night.....a day later, the ONLY available store is in Chico which is like 3 hours drive away from Sacramento!!! Need mobo WITH fire-wire connection to pair with E6600?
Any good mobo's out there for under $150 with the IEEE 1394 port on it and also supports Quad-Core? I need this as I just bought a Cannon Elura camcorder and will need to transer my homemade movies to PC. The mobo will pair with E6600. One month of ownership and loving it so far......360 games look awesome at 1080p. Got one question though....For my 360 via VGA, I manually have to decrease the sharpness to 30 each time when I power on the monitor. Is there a way to make the settings stick for each input? Thx Frag PS... -

720p on a Dell 2407WFP
Cant speak for PS3 but I have 360 set to 1080p via VGA.....though games are rendered at 720p...I posted this (Splinter Cell-DA) a while back......aspect is set to 1:1 with little borders on top and bottom but very hard to notice. Tried "Fill" mode which doesn't look too bad but I prefer the true... -

DVD RW drive reads cds but not dvds......weird.
Same thing happened to my Samsung drive which was 2 years old....I even flashed the firmware to no avail....since the drive was old, I simply replaced it with a NEC Lightscibe burner......didn't really wanna spend my precious trying to 'fix' a 2 yrd old drive;) Frag- Fragster

Dell 2407WFP Rev A04 Spotted.
I can relate to u.......Currently, Im a 75% console/25% PC gamer and after moving the 360 from my 57" Hitachi HDTV to my Dell 2407 (a04...4 weeks old) , I like the new setup better,,,,,maybe its the fact now Im gaming from a feet away so the immersive factor is more. Im not having any issues...
