Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I would have said the slightly later ones were better, at least for crossfire. The MSI had issues for me with idle clocks.

Hang in there, I can't say why your score is low. I've seen quite a few 5870 at stock pull around 16/17K Vantage P. My crossfired pair get over 25K @ 900/1250 with an i7 at 4GHz. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=1457699. Like I said, I had major issues coming from an X2, took me loads...
Given the 5870 is more or less 2x 4890 memory bandwidth aside, the 4870X2 with its crossfire overheads should not be that far ahead if at all. The 5870 should more like a 4870X2 at 850, which is more than can be said for it at moment. Wait for better drivers and make sure you performance is...
Its on water, temps don't change much if at all. It did quite well on stock 860/1000 easily. I haven't bothered looking for more tbh. Just wanted to see if it worked.
On a referance X2, I added a few voltages to a batch file for desktop selection. Obviously use your own value, path ect, works...
I'm not sure it is dual channel with 4 sticks. The memory configuration is kinda odd, 4 sticks gives tri-channel. So you can't double up for dual channel or tri (obviously)
Also is doesn't appear to support SLi, CrossFireX only as far as I can see.
There's a vanilla P6T due any time...
I can help with that one, the uncore MUST be set to twice or more than the memory multiplier. It won't like dropping below x16 on the uncore with a x8 memory multi.
