    JVC HD-P61R1U 61" 1080P HDTV $1900 *Shipped*

looks like the deal is dead. too bad, these LCOS TVs have an amazing picture for the money.

    Saitek Eclipse Keyboard Compusa $19.99AR

These are excellent boards, especially with regards to tactile feedback. The only issue I have is that some of the keys (specifically the ones near the top, like numbers) aren't as bright as others.

If you missed thumbdrive sales over the weekend

Don't know the exact speed, but the 2GB one is definitely slower than all of the other drives I've had. The U3 stuff can be annoying, too if you're using them on machines where you don't have administrative privileges (i.e. at colleges). Other than that, it's a good drive.

    HOTTTT Samsung SyncMaster(tm) 930B 19 $130 AR OD

It says "delivery only" near the bottom of the page. Also, the $100 rebate doesn't seem to be there anymore.

    Luke warm: Maxtor 300GB PATA $79 (A/R?)

eRebates are still a rebate, but you file the entire thing online. no need to send in UPC codes or anything. all you need is your receipt. they're very handy, and quite a bit faster.

    X-Fi to Reciever

Does your receiver have 5.1 discrete inputs? If so, the best way would be to buy two of these cables and a regular stereo miniplug to RCA cable (like the one mentioned above). see this page for information about the pinout on the card.

    ER-6i vs. super.fi 5EB

Currently, I have a pair of ER-6s. I love them, but their bass response sucks (even when paired with a CMoy amp). Between the Etymotic ER-6i and the Ultimate Ears super.fi 5EB, which will give me the best bass response, without sacrificing midrange and treble quality? Keep in mind I will be...

@ the Egg: AOpen 7800 GT for $289 AR

I had an Aopen Ti4200 that lasted for a very long time at highly overclocked speeds. I'd recommend them.

Hot - USB to Serial Adapter FAR

if i didn't already have one, i'd jump on this with the quickness. always good to have an extra serial port...small embedded computers still use them quite a bit for communication.

    Corsair 1 GB KIT DDR400 (2 x 512 MB) $104.00

you must have missed the "online only" part of that page...now if wal-mart had these in the b&m stores that'd be great...in case of a late-night emergency or something

PNY has always been good about their rebates...not sure about Outpost though.

    Website Authentication

I'm the webmaster for my fraternity. We have a small chapter, at a relatively small school. We're wanting to put a section on our website where users would have to login (so we could put private documents, etc.). From what I've been reading, this can only be done through the use of a...

    SATA PCI Controllers

Does anyone here have any experience with SATA PCI controller cards? I'm buying one paired with a 36GB Raptor to try to extend the life of my old machine (it's old enough that it doesn't have SATA ports on the motherboard). Here's the one I'm considering (mainly because it's cheap). Link...

Flash Gateway mobo with Intel BIOS?

I'm mainly concerned that the RAM timing adjustments and the "Burn-In" mode won't be in the Gateway BIOS (although I can't find any information to confirm this), since they tend to remove things like that to keep novice users from meddling where they shouldn't.
