    Woe Betide SG03 Owners

Duly noted :-p No, it was the single-slot version that came out right before the 8800GT got released but had some more shaders unlocked.

    GA-G33M-DS2R

Yeah, I called after two weeks and they basically said, "Yeah, we'll put a "rush" order in the ticket for you." I made sure to call the next week, (which is actually what the first rep said to do) and verified that it was moving along and would be back with me shortly. I think it took about a...

Gigabyte GA-33M DS2R I bought my case in late September (~27th). Maybe newer versions fixed this problem?

PC Will Not Post after Getting Violent with Keyboard

I hate this bullshit. I just tried powering up with no keyboard and nothing came up on screen. I tried plugging in another computer's connector for the external speaker and powered up, and no beeps came. My friend is having a tough midterm week and so isn't available until the weekend. I just...

PC Will Not Post after Getting Violent with Keyboard

The keyboard never hit the computer. The keyboard's plugged into the back and its cable is routed through a little hole into the tray. I just shoved the tray table IN, meaning that I shouldn't have torn or frayed any wiring. I think the shock made the GPU wobble a little bit too much and broke...

PC Will Not Post after Getting Violent with Keyboard

Yep, Saitek's USB keyboard. I'm fortunate enough to have advised a friend as to what to buy for his rig a month before I bought mine, so his parts are all interchangeable with mine :-D I'll bring my GPU, PSU, and to be thorough, I should bring the CPU as well.... I'll keep you guys...

PC Will Not Post after Getting Violent with Keyboard

Plugged in another power supply with a basic config out of the case on a table (CPU, 1 ram stick only with onboard graphics) and the same problem happened. I plugged in a POS 350W PSU, but the PSU still works. I guess it's time to call up Gigabyte. Is there any chance the CPU is broken too?

PC Will Not Post after Getting Violent with Keyboard

So I have on of those desks that has a built-in tray table for a keyboard, and I put my small form factor PC on top of it. I've had my PC for two months and it's been absolutely great until now. I shoved my keyboard into the desk pretty violently, and BOOM, the PC just turns off. So I go ahead...

8800 GT single slot design good for SFF?

evga's specs say it's 9 inches long, or the same length as the 8800 gts. 8800 GT Specs: http://evga.com/products/pdf/512-P3-N801-AR.pdf 8800 GTS: http://evga.com/products/pdf/640-P2-N821.pdf And it's confirmed to eat up less power. Double win!

    512 MB Video RAM

Hard's review today said it would only be a problem for SLI, and that DX10 games will come to increasingly benefit from memory capacity. But I'm also wondering on what memory flavor to step up to.

SG01/03 Heatsink? NT-06 the best I can get for a Quad?

Well, dworley used paper clips for his NT-06: http://www.hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1031118437&postcount=18 I'm not sure if you can fit a 120mm under there...

SG01/03 Heatsink? NT-06 the best I can get for a Quad?

derekb77 was able to fit a Zalman 8700 in there: http://www.hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1031293457&postcount=63 The people that mount it on a Q6600 generally seem pretty content with the Nt-06, though.
