P8P67 vanilla with a 2500k @ 4.7 on 1.376V (avg on cpu-z). Using a 212+ with temps in the 66-70C range. I'm mostly stable at 4.8 but the voltage can jump over 1.4V with temps up to 75C. Think I'm going to stay @ 4.7 for now

I have the vanilla, no major problems with the install. Only had cold-boot problems and the latest bios (not the beta) fixed that

Same for me. Built the same rig in November of 2006 and am just now about to upgrade to a 2500k. Going to keep my 8800gtx until at least summer or fall.

The infinity sticks out about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch too far for the fan to hit. I'm going to try mounting the fan on the outside of the case....if that doesn't work, I may go water or find another heatsink...

I have the chakra and really like it--except that I have a scythe infinity on my cpu and I can't put the side of the case on as the 25cm fan hits the scythe. I may mount the fan on the outside of the case or just get a different heatsink...

What setup would you recommend?

So I've been out of the overclocking world for a while (last was an athy 1300 I think, and a p3 450 before that) and I finally got a chance to build a computer. E6600, scythe infinity, P5B vanilla, 2gb corsair dominator 6400 4-4-4-12, evga 8800gtx, 320gb seagate perp, e207wfp, enermax whisper...

Well, it keeps the wife happy--and that's important, as I ordered a 6600/p5b/2gb xms/new case/e207/8800gtx/scythe.

Ordered an evga 8800gtx yesterday, about 11:10...rush, overnight...have it now, though I won't be able to install it till sunday :(
