Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi, I recently helped a physiotherapy college student chose a new Dell Inspiron 15, 5515 laptop, with the following:
Windows 10 Professional
512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive
16GB DDR4 3200MHz
The processor is: AMD Ryzen(TM) 7 5700U 8-core/16-thread Mobile Processor with Radeon(TM)...
Thanks very much for your reply Track Drew. I've done that with these results: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/14097941
Everything else was closed on the laptop when the test was run, does this suggest that there is something running in the background slowing down the laptop?
Thanks again.
My laptop often runs very slow. Specs below:
Dell Latitude
Intel Core i5 @ 2.3GHz
16GB RAM DDR3
Windows 10 (upgraded from Windows 7)
Novabench benchmark score is 849.
Could you please give me some pointers on how to figure out why it is running slow?
Thanks
I do some computer programming and web development. When learning how to use new software or a programming language, I find it frustrating that I don't understand how it actually works with the computer hardware.
Do you have any suggestions, short course or book recommendations, for learning...
