LGA775 mobo dead, what to do? Upgrade?

Yep, does seem pretty obvious. One more thing, my original mobo was a P5B deluxe by asus bought from newegg. I am trying to see if it is under warranty, but there is no serial number! no sticker on the board and according to asus the serial number should be on the box - but there is none...

LGA775 mobo dead, what to do? Upgrade?

nope, I am not really an overclocker. my older amd rig is slightly overclocked. that being said, before the mobo died, it was running everything i wanted quite easily. while i want to upgrade, i think it would be unnecessary to my needs.

LGA775 mobo dead, what to do? Upgrade?

Seems my LGA775 mobo is dead which leaves me with an E6600. My computing does not really necessitate a new processor, though I have been eying the phenom 2 and wolfdale chips. First option is to buy a new LGA775 board, slap in the E6600 and keep trucking along like nothing happened...

good idea! just tried that. if i just plug in the molex to the CD drive it turns on and i can open it instantly. if i plug in the molex and the ide cable from the mobo to the CD drive it wont turn on. still no audible indications of an error.

    7900GS artifacts?

Hey guys.. posting this for a buddy over at a VA I fly for. He says it just started happening. When he encountered it a few times he decided to try new drivers (installed improperly) but the problem still exists. Any idea what it could be? I suggested trying new drivers and using Driver...
