I wonder how people use 55" oled as a computer monitor with 80 ppi. Anything less than 100 ppi makes text look less than sharp especially at more than 3 feet away. It would bother me.

It will probably have a 3 year warranty instead of the 1 year you get with the LG. A 1 year warranty on a monitor of this price is inexcusable. I'd rather wait for this.

Not a problem. Mine has been at 100hz since day 1 and no issues.

There are some websites in Europe that say December delivery. B&H Photo in New York is taking preorders now but no delivery time frame yet.

If I were you, get it replaced. I had the same problem on my first unit. Mine had 3 black spots visible on a white background. It was 3 specks of dust trapped under the coating. One in the middle, upper left and off center left. Newegg replaced the unit for me. Unfortunately the replacement...

The review is very accurate. The image quality is great. No pixel issues whatsoever. There is no back light bleed at all. Blacks are just that, very black. Sitting half a meter away everything is clear and sharp. Text is very sharp and more easily readable due to the slight increase in pixel...

Payment of $1.00 is to read the review early ahead of its May 16 free release. A dollar is very little to pay for a review of a $699 to $799 dollar monitor. I paid for it even though I already had the monitor. Money well spent for the review and the monitor. For me anyway.
