I wonder how people use 55" oled as a computer monitor with 80 ppi. Anything less than 100 ppi makes text look less than sharp especially at more than 3 feet away. It would bother me.
It will probably have a 3 year warranty instead of the 1 year you get with the LG. A 1 year warranty on a monitor of this price is inexcusable. I'd rather wait for this.
If I were you, get it replaced. I had the same problem on my first unit. Mine had 3 black spots visible on a white background. It was 3 specks of dust trapped under the coating. One in the middle, upper left and off center left. Newegg replaced the unit for me. Unfortunately the replacement...
The review is very accurate. The image quality is great. No pixel issues whatsoever. There is no back light bleed at all. Blacks are just that, very black. Sitting half a meter away everything is clear and sharp. Text is very sharp and more easily readable due to the slight increase in pixel...
Payment of $1.00 is to read the review early ahead of its May 16 free release. A dollar is very little to pay for a review of a $699 to $799 dollar monitor. I paid for it even though I already had the monitor. Money well spent for the review and the monitor. For me anyway.
This happens to my 3011 when I have my desk lamp on and sitting too close to the side with the buttons. It also happens when my pen holder sits too close. Seems the touch sensitive buttons are a little too sensitive. If I move these things out of the proximity of the buttons the blinking stops.
I've tried auto rotate both on and off but it doesn't make a difference. This is a replacement for a 2713h with connectivity issues. That one never did this. Dell support is stumped (not hard to do). I don't use any Dell drivers, just the current Nvidia drivers for my GTX 690. I even tried a...
I just unpacked and setup my 2713h. Something odd though, the menu and any messages the monitor displays is rotated 90 degrees to the left. Even the Dell logo splash screen was when I turned it on. Nothing I can find in the setting will change it even rotating it to portrait and then back...
