    Asus P5RD2-VM USB 2.0 issue

Busy week. I finally got to it. USB 2.0 was enabled in the BIOS, but when I went into the device manager, it had a yellow question mark on the USB Controller section. I think it was there, but it seemed to be farther up on the list. Anyway, I went into the properties for it and it said the...

    Asus P5RD2-VM USB 2.0 issue

I got this http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16811133008 Thermaltake case for them (it's the one they wanted), and according to the Egg, the front ports are USB 2.0. I know the stuff there isn't always 100% accurate, so I checked Thermaltake's site and they also say they are USB...

    Asus P5RD2-VM USB 2.0 issue

I just built a new computer for my parents, and they say that whenever they plug something into the USB ports, they get a message saying something to the effect that the device is plugged into a non-high speed port that can be updated to 2.0. I've looked all over the Asus site, and haven't been...

    New computer for parents

Thanks for the help, guys. I forgot that ATI has a chipset with integrated video, too. Here's what I'm doing, just got over here from purchasing everything at the 'Egg: Thermaltake Matrix VX VD3000BWA http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16811133008 ASUS P5RD2-VM...

    New computer for parents

Right now, they have a Socket A board with the Athlon XP. And NulloModo is right, integrated video is more than enough for what they need. Like I said, I'm AMD-centric, so hopefully this isn't too dumb of a question. I looked at the ABIT and Intel boards you guys posted links for, and the FSB...

    New computer for parents

These people are in their early 50's, though, so everything will stay at stock speeds. Any suggestions for a good Intel board with integrated video?

    New computer for parents

My parents anniversary (#31) is coming up at the end of the month, and I'm going to build them a new system, with monetary help from the siblings. They will use it for internet, bookkeeping programs for my dad's business, and the ocassional game. Not even Half-Life 1level games, just games like...

    Fastest AGP Card

http://www.cooltechzone.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1463&Itemid=0 That was about 2 months ago with nVidia saying no to a 7800 AGP unless demand is there. So, like someone said already, the X850 XT-PE is probably the last hurrah for AGP.

    ATI X850xt or 6800gt?

I thought ATI didn't support PS 3.0 yet... or is that SM3.0... any difference? Anyone?
