Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've looked at both using my monitor and honestly the ones much bigger than DVD-R and its not worth taking up all that extra space.
someday when we all have 5Tb drives and 100Mb download abilities it'll be worth the extra time/space but not right now... 8Mb downloads and 2Tb total storage for...
I have dual 22" Dells myself and honestly it would take a 30" to make me want to switch. I'd take a 30" over 2 22's simply because I hate turning my head side to side so much with the dual 22's dual 24's would be VERY hard to use. I struggle to use my 22's properly.
even the rips where you take a full blu-ray and turn it into a ~4Gb file still looks WAY better than DVD. Personally I stick with the DVD size rips simply because I have a 720p projector and I am just wasting storage space above 720p.
I'll take a 100+ inch 720p over a ~40" 1080p ANYDAY...
the faster menu's part won't be happening until the developers refine things in the software which honestly could be a good 6mnths.
Hardware could be quite a wait because they seem to be pretty slow with getting hardware out so no telling when those new models will be around.

this is true for MOST people. Just like playback with the xbox 360 you are fairly limited as to WHAT you playback. If your primary thing is watching downloaded videos the PS3 might not be for you. Do some reading on codecs supported currently and look through your collection. You may have to...
I got sick of dealing with my linux PC for playback. It just wasn't working out very well for 1080p content even with a core 2 E6400 running around 2.5Ghz so I had to either upgrade that box or switch to windows when I came across the popcornhour and I'm really glad I chose to go with that so...
I have one and haven't put a hard drive in it yet since the only PATA drive I have is in my linux box as the OS drive, I'm going to have to buy one from somebody on here but it works pretty well for HD playback but the menu is really too slow.
you can install it as just an update to vista... I did it but my PVR-1250 doesn't get found as anything other than analog... I haven't been able to get the QAM to work with it yet BUT even using wintv the QAM support is pretty bad. I'm looking for a better tuner card right now.
If there's...
