    FIXED!!!!!! hell yes..thanks fellas....all i did was reformat and install everything but the chipset drivers...and boom...done yesssss quake 4 runs sweet now....thanks for all the help guys w00t

    wow holleluya(spelling) ok guys update: reformatted again...and just installed 81.98 drvers ran 3dmark and i scored 7k again....now im gunna do one by one and find the problem....right now its running fine....so its either chipset drivers...or sound drivers fucking it up....
