    Ahh, so short version, looks like the gfx card isn't very well if it keeps underclocking itself when the temps are low enough to work fine.

    Hmm, thanks for the reply, although i admit i'm not sure it makes sense :( Or rather, what are the ramifications here? Am i supplying too little power? Too much(?!?) I didn't see this when i ran with a lower resolution, only since moving to 1440p.

    Sorry, i wasn't clear re VSync; i meant to infer that i wasn't right on the limit of 60FPS, i still get the same issue vsync or not. So i just ran my test again with clockblocker, makes the GPU hold 1050 or 1150, seemingly depending on how it's feeling, not sure what's going on there. Anyway...
