    Tony, Yes to all. The second card is not in the bottom most slot but in the second PCIe slot closest to the first card. There is ample breathing room for the cards, here is a pic of my mobo. Cards are in the first two PCIe slots from top to bottom.

    Don;t know what good it will do me but I will try reformatting today to a fresh OS install. Also have heard that running voltage monitoring programs while gaming with crossfire + eyefinity causes lockups. I have only gamed with HWMon running so i will try disabling that too to see what it does.
