the error messages the guy had on the 2 burn fails wasn't buffer underruns!!
they were power calibration errors
might be becouse of the poor power supply in the test machine?

well at work i have a very poor system 900mhz celeron with 384mb ram

hello, i have been looking in to building a base unit that can burn multiple cd's at once using nero burning roms feature
i first looked at buying a normal large tower case, with a average mboard
along with a althon barton 2500 + 512mb ram, maybe a 1gb ram

but i was wondering more that if it is a bad stick, and i put it in a working board is they any change of harming my board?
or will it be ok and just not detect the stick
or will it screw the board?
