    Samsung 940b vs Viewsonic VP930

    I'm looking for my 1st LCD and have narrowed it down to those 2. I know the VP930 is supposed to be an 8-bit panel but has a slower response time than the 940b which is 6-bit. The VP930 would cost me £110/$191 USD more then the 940b. I surf a lot, use word and paint shop a little bit and game...

    Would you exchange a monitor with one dead pixel?

    Yep definately I've just done exactly that. I sent 1 back because it had 1 stuck red pixel in the middle of the screen. I tried massaging it out but it wasn't having it. Personally I don't think any dead or stuck pixels is acceptable and they should all be tested before being sold.
