Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Long time [H]ard reader, seldom poster. I am ready to upgrade to the newest gen of video card (current one is a gts 512 gaming at 1920x1200)and am willing to give ATI a shot. I am in love with the new 4890 and it's pricing (can be had for under $200!) but I also have a loyalty to nvidia cards...
I don't understand what the big deal about the gx2 is. All I see are two 8800gts 512 that have inferior cooling to their reference counterparts. I'll admit that having only a twin slot card is great but come on, they seriously need to reconsider a card like this until they release drivers that...
in all honesty I didnt expect this thread to develop so nicely :) but it looks like everybody is learning a little bit more about HD possibilities. I do like the intel raid configuration where you can have those faster partitions on the same disk but I only have a 680i :(
Yeah, you guys did get kind of trolled. While I knew this was a ridiculous question I was interested in finding out if anyone has actually done this. Seems possible since people will try to overclock just about anything. Anyway I like these forums a lot, keep up the good posts :P
I have two WD 750GB AAKS hard drives in raid 0 that I want to overclock. How do I go about making them spin faster (some people tell me these drives can spin up to 30% faster that stock). I've tried to find a program all over the internet but I just don't know where to start. Can anyone help me?
