It almost sounds like you don't have enough clamping pressure holding the heatsink in place. The mounting bracket in the link you showed is for a socket 1366 / i7. The pics of the 775 bracket look a bit different. Perhaps they have a different bracket height. This link is to the brackets for a...
Wow, $12? I use the Klear Screen kit. It's cheaper.http://www.amazon.com/Klear-Screen-Super-Starter-Kit/dp/B00008W5V5/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1252547585&sr=1-2 This kit lasts a long time. You only need to spray a pump or two at the most to clean the screen.
I use two micro cloths. Spray one cloth with the cleaner, and follow up with the dry cloth asap. It's faster with two cloths, and streaks less since you can wipe the screen dry before the solution dries. The cloths that come in the package are too small.
Until you really push the oc, the Megahalem should do just fine. It's the NB, mosfets, and ram that will heat up a lot without the side fan. You could always mount the fan on the outside, and make a fancy grill for it. I ran my plexi window without a fan at first. I run my fans at 600-700rpm for...
You can make a new Plexi window to move the fan for heatsink clearance. Here is a link to the same dilemma, if you do not wish to Dremel the 200mm fan to fit. The stock outer mesh can be reinstalled, or you can use just the window with a grill over the fan...
Once you get the 2x2GB optimal settings, an additional 2 sticks usually requires more additional voltage and timing adjustments. These adjustments get more critical the higher you oc. I think if you are able to just drop in 2 additional sticks and your system runs fine, your system was running...
I think the build quality is good. I actually have an Antec Super Lanboy in another room for comparison. The P183 is probably a quieter case due to the door and outer case material. Fit and finish is pretty good. No problems with cheap rattles or vibrations. Microcenter has a hot deal on them...
