Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Eh kinda yeah, idk. I'm too poor to compete with some of the people out there. I'm probably in the higher end but I'll never have a ridiculous system. I like spending money on other things too much lol.
The 3 cards is more to futureproof than anything else. Plus I have a PC that honestly should be running 3 cards. (Hexacore 24gb memory). I may add more monitors down the line but I wanted to know if Vmem has any relation to stereoscopic 3d at all.
Also: I will be running a single 27 inch @ 1920x1080 for the 3D. I would like to maintain 60fps the entire time. Is this attainable with 3x 1.5gb 580's or should I opt for the 3GB?
I'm in the market for new vid cards for stereoscopic 3D. My question is will VMEM matter? Should I get 3x580 with 1.5 gb memory or will 3x580 3gb memory perform better under stereoscopic 3D? I tried searching online but couldn't find any real 3 way sli benches with 3d enabled etc.
I already run Vista 64 so capacity isn't an issue before someone brings that up. But I mostly game and do a lot of video converting via NeroVision (I dunno if there's a better program out there?). I mean I'm not worried about it being overkill, just wondering what's going to provide a better...
I'm at a bit of a crossroads here. I'm buying new ram for my Intel E8400 Pc. (680i mobo).
I can't decide whether to buy:
4GB of the Crucial Ballistix Tracer @ 1066 MHZ
or
4GB of Mushkin 8GB @ 800 MHZ.
Any advice I am thankful for. :)
I work 3 jobs, and go to two schools one for a nursing degree one for premed. One full time one part time. The last thing I wanna do when I get home at like 10:30 PM is go out and hang with the alcoholics. :P
I said I had to have it by the 30th. As for the 250 that's untrue. Retailers will be able to buy them for 266 per 1000. So the actual price will be around 300.
