You would be amazed. Sometimes shit just sits on shelves. I went to a local hardware store a few months ago. Literally built in the 1850's. We went around back and there were things there that had to have been over 50 years old just sitting...
Yes. Little did we know what the future would bring once these beautiful pieces of tech were phased out. 😢 i picked this one up just to keep in storage with the intent of pulling her out here and there to make sure she still works. Just wanted to...
Just picked this gem of a unit up recently. She's only 17in but always good to find a zero hour unit; especially a Sun branded flat screen with a Samsung tube. Also, just like it's bigger 21in brethren this unit is built like a tank and quite heavy!
In a similar vain, this study actually refers to the "Reset" button not Image Restore?
11.24 Color Temporal Control
The IEC Program Office had requested a method to control color in a monitor over time. In response to this request, NIDL...
I've read that external degaussing coils aren't recommended with aperture grille tubes? Because the aperture wires could crisscross?
Because my Diamondtron has some very slight impurity at the top almost in left corner. I'd like to try a...
Ooof, yeah this is the #1 thing I hate about my Gigabyte Aorus FO48U. The software is just lazily programmed in that way.
But otherwise, it seems like the Gigabyte is on the whole a better monitor. Especially since it has 120hz BFI.
Just FYI I ordered direct from LG's website (the pre-order option) on the 23rd and it just arrived today! Dunno if that situation has changed, but definitely no waiting on my end.
First impressions! (Keep an eye out for things marked "EDIT" as...
Yeah, from browsing r/CRTgaming on reddit, I can tell that people that ask for prices on stuff like the FW900 aren't actually very serious about getting a FW900, otherwise they would have done more research and realized there is no reliable price...
OP speaks as if you can just hop in the car or jump on the internet and just casually buy any of these units? That Intergraph you speak of is quite the rarity along with an FW900. You may be able to find the other units you mention though. Good...
Well...there actually IS a bad focus / fuzzy picture section there, but the real question is am I daring enough to go hunting for them. I didn't know there were focusing pots in it, and the fuzzy sometimes happening, stops, then does it again...
19" and 22" are fine.
A good 19" will do a nice 1440x1080 at 80-90hz on the desktop, up to 2400x1800 at 60hz for games. A good 22" can do 1600x1200 at 80-100hz on the desktop, and up to 2880x2160p at 60hz for games
Those desktop resolutions at...
Got mine today. I went into the PPI/resolution thing with super low expectations and figured it would be completely unusable on the desktop but its really not that bad. My head is roughly 36-38 inches from it and its perfectly usable.
I've given...
I wonder if the Xeneon Flex has a gimped HDMI 2.1 port like the Gigabyte and LG 48" 16:9 monitors. Maybe there is some incompatibility with the signal wants and the signal the games are sending.
Maybe try displayport? Or changing any...
