I was told this HDMI adapter from Gembird can hit 390mHz.

Depends on the monitor. I find some monitors, including this one, tend to get a bit of a flicker as the refresh rate drops below 50. Apparently the gamma can shift a bit at different refresh rates. If I limit the VRR range from 60 - 120, that's...
I don't have an adaptive sync display, so I've always wondered about this. I the transition into LFC really that noticeable? I would think it wouldn't really be since we're talking about sample and hold displays.
Yeah, you have to use what they call a "pursuit camera". You put the the camera on a rail and move it with the UFO, to simulate how it would look with your eyes moving with the UFO. Doing by hand is kinda difficult.
The issue seems to be that...
So I guess it looks different than it does at 100hz aim stabilizer? That's how you'd really be able to tell if it's working correctly or incorrectly.
If it was working correctly, 80hz and 100hz would look VERY similar.
I remember another guy...
The FW900 is a massive CRT. You should be shipping freight, on a palette, full stop.
Don't try to ship it in a box or two with lots of padding, you're just rolling the dice with an incredibly rare CRT...
Are you using an external power supply for the HD Fury 2? Maybe that will help.
But yeah, sounds like your monitor doesn't like LCD timings. that's unusual for sure. Most CRT's just get warped left and right sides, which can be overscanned.
It took them like a week, and this was before the monitor came out.
And it was a low-risk one for them to answer. Unlike a bricked DP connector where they could end up paying out the butt for RMA's if they're not careful.
If you're on the latest firmware, could you do me a favor and see if you can set a refresh rate below 100hz, like 80hz or something, and still be able to trun on Aim Stabilizer strobing?
I emailed their support about enabling strobing...
Yeah, the gigabyte brings good stuff to the table. I feel like there will be even better models out next year though, without any of the downsides, and maybe Blur Busters approved 60hz strobe.
In the meantime, my trusty 21" Diamondtron CRT will...
I'm on the newest driver, but I have no idea when they made this update. There's a good chance they made the change before they dropped Win 7.
You know you can activate a Win 10 install with your Windows 7 key, just FYI
