Yep i've thought about a controler, but i've never found one that can handle the fan's speed regarding some rules (defining the low speed temp, and the high one)....If you know one....I'll be pleased to save 100....:)
Hmmmm for the 2600, i've found a 2600K bulk which is 50€ cheaper than the 2600, so it's why i've kept that one (instead, i'll obviously use a regular one).... For the mb, if i tend to choose ROG, it's because they have many fan connector (and all PWM nowadays...), dunno if non OC and...
