I saw plenty of people for all of them over time. Heck, tons of people flamed xp for being "fisher price child colors" and claimed they'd never move from 98/2000. I saw no need for Win7 as vista was great by the time it rolled around, myself...

EI think that's notable, mostly because eink displays typically refresh very slowly unless a custom controller is used, and because the gameboy screen refreshed at (nearly) 60Hz. So achieving that speed was important for an authentic experience...
