Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Doesn't really matter from the user perspective whose fault it is, does it? Whether it is nvidia's, linux's or the Mouth of Sauron's, all they see is a few hundred dollars worth of lower performance on linux.
All the parts have warranty. The point is that me building a cheaper and better PC than the GabeCube should not be possible. Valve gets discounts and there's less parts in the GabeCube than the PC I listed. Either way, the GabeCube should be...
Because the actual gaming is the bit one would *want* to spend time on?
It is unfortunate, but digital autonomy is valued incredibly far below "convenience".
Who would have guessed that charging, at release, ten bucks or less for the experience of a $60 single player game is bad business? Then they have the sheer gall to pretend their own strategic failure is due to "high cost".
The question is whether that improvement was delivered by the cache or by moving to a single chiplet cpu. I am pretty certain that multiple chiplets are considered to be a bad idea™ for lows at any resolution.
I saw plenty of people for all of them over time. Heck, tons of people flamed xp for being "fisher price child colors" and claimed they'd never move from 98/2000. I saw no need for Win7 as vista was great by the time it rolled around, myself...
Perhaps a portion of ps owners chose that console over a pc precisely for that reason?
Not to mention that sony regularly announces permanent deletion of entire digital libraries, despite the fact that content in question had been "purchased"...
I think that's notable, mostly because eink displays typically refresh very slowly unless a custom controller is used, and because the gameboy screen refreshed at (nearly) 60Hz. So achieving that speed was important for an authentic experience...
In case people hadn't noticed: free markets are inherently self-destructive.
I rather suspect that farmers in particular are bound to know very well that a free market is an illusion when a few parties have grabbed a significant portion of...
Who said anything about "fault"? According to economic theory demand should drop regardless of who is to blame, and that (relatively) massive price increase should have dropped demand like cow's droppings.
