    Failed RAID5

1 of the drives on my 3x1TB RAID5 array went down a while ago. I just got the replacement and it seems to be fine, however I can't get the RAID controller to do anything useful with it. The volume is marked as 'failed' instead of 'degraded'. The manual for Intel Matrix Storage Manager says it...

    1080i on HD3450 and 8400GS

Are you sure? The manual definitely says 1080i 60hz. And 720p gives me nothing.

    1080i on HD3450 and 8400GS

At what refresh rates do these cards support 1080i component output? I've got an 8400GS and can't get it over 30hz, which sucks because I think my TV will only display 1080i @ 60hz (or so the manual says). Can the 8400GS be made to output at 1080i @ 60hz or is this as good as it gets...

    Component TV Out Problems

I've put together a media centre PC using the Windows 7 beta to output to my old Samsung widescreen CRT. The television claims to be 720p/1080i, but I have not used it with anything HD before. I'm trying to output to it with an Asus EN8400GS and some component cables. It works fine at 480i or...

    Cheapest HTPC Possible

I did not realize (until a moment ago) that SVideo was not capable of 720p. With that in mind, I will probably want to use component. To clarify some information about the TV: It is 720p/1080i. It only has SVideo, composite and component inputs. If I should go with an AMD system, are...

    Cheapest HTPC Possible

I know the question about the remote is probably obvious to people who know anything about WMC, but I really want to make sure I can use the remote with the DTV 2000H to navigate WMC (not just to control the functionality of the DTV 2000H itself). Is this possible?

    Cheapest HTPC Possible

I'm trying to put together the cheapest possible HTPC. It will only be outputting 720p to an old widescreen CRT, so I don't think it needs to be anything high end. All I'm looking for is something that will work with Windows Media Center, be a HDTV tuner and play all the files I already have...
