Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Can you replace the batteries on most UPS? Wait, in 2-4 years are you saying the battery can no longer hold any charger? Or maybe it can hold 30 seconds of heavy load (enough time for a normal shutdown)?
I'm using a Corsair HX650 professional series. Certified bronze.
I have been experiencing very very rare instability issues over a year now. It was only until recently that someone directed my attention to an unstable supply of power. To make this short, I want to know what...
Actually from a little bit of searching, someone made a very extensive thread in another forum about UPS and how some models can filter noise in the power line and also correct for brownouts (under-voltage) or power surges (over-voltage). This is most likely what I need. The thread also mentions...
Hello guys!
I couldn't find a proper sections in the forum to post this so here goes....
Since I bought my motherboard about a year ago from now, I have been experiencing very very rare instability issues in-game and under light-load. It was until recently that someone pointed out it may be an...
Uhm, it's been almost 24 hours. memtest86 takes a long ass time for 16gb ddr4 at 2133. I'm just asking about the 10 passes because I think i read somewhere that technicians call 10 passes the standard in refurbished goods.
Hi HF community!
Since i got my motherboard about a year ago from now. I have been having very very rare instability issues in-game and during light load usage. It has only been recently that I started analyzing BSOD dump files. Been using default settings for my hardware. No overclocking yet...
LOL, i know. It was an accident man. I eat by my computer all the time. I think I need to put the case directly under the desk or let it sit on top. Nothing will change my mind about eating near my PC. Also, I never heard of contact cleaner spray. Can you please recommend me some. Also, please...
Hmm well I bought this used last year. And Before the spill I had very rare issues with the card. The card would very-rarely reset once a month while casually using my PC. When the card resets under light load the monitors flickered once and Aero for windows 7 got disabled. I think you know what...
Ya , I spilled balsamic a few months ago. It mostly got onto the PCB of my gfx card. I cleaned that PCB twice, but the 2nd time was months after i notice the little residue left over. What kind of problem would corrosion cause? What would I see while gaming or casually using my PC?
And...
Hi HF community!
I noticed some weird looking pins on my card and wanted to know if they should cause me some concern. I took some pics of scratched or burnt pins ( can't tell).
My card: SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 390

That's mostly how I felt initially because of the much longer warranty given by G.Skill. I feel like if I experience any instability, the blame has to go to GB lol. I want to blame someone.
I hate fiddling with RAM timings. I did it a very long time ago when I first overclocked. It could literally take days to get a stable RAM non-stock overclock, right? There are too many variables. If you constantly get errors in stress testing it, you could be trying to overclock it for days...
Thank you so much for that enlightening reply. I would have never found that out. So I can be nearly 100% safe by using GB qvl list or take a tiny risk with the G.Skill compatibility list, correct? I read on G.Skill's site they do extensive stress testing on various boards before they sell...
Using F8, because I believe going any further wont let me changed the bios version. And owners of this board, commonly report F8 is best unless you're using kaby lake.
