    Also, here's what I've done: -hard reset -updated any drivers possible. -tried it out with a different computer i notice that there's a ? in the device manager under "HP USB Sync". If I try and update the driver, it errors out every time.

    yeah everything's good there, have checked all the connections and used different ports, but it still does the same thing. Again, to me, it's a non-issue, as it's not really noticeable and not something I'd be surprised about.
