I finished this build roughly one month ago and I'm selling it because quite frankly I need the money. The system is very fast and completely stable at 3.6Ghz. In 3DMark06 I hit 16,1xx.

-Intel C2D E6750 3.6Ghz Arctic Cooler Freezer Pro 7

I want to watercool my system to continue overclocking, and because I think the idea of it is badass, where do I start? I have two 8800GT KO editions, I haven't heard much about OCing them in the first place, not a whole lot anyways, is there any reason to watercool those? I know I want to...
I have two EVGA 8800GT KO 512MB cards in SLI, and I was wondering what a safe OC would be with them? I'm not having in problems in games, but I would like to hit 16k in 3DMark06 and right now I'm at 15,779...
I have stock coolers on the cards.
E6750 3.5Ghz on air
Crucial Ballistix 2GB 4-4-4-12
Asus P5N-E SLI (680i on the way)
2x 8800GT KO 512MB
I dunno, my score seems low for my cards... Or am I just expecting too much? The only thing I have overclocked is my processor.
Alright... I think I hit a sweet spot, now I'm going to slowly continue OC'ing it.
Right now it's at 3.2Ghz with a FSB of 400 (1600) and my ram is running at 800Mhz with timings of 4-4-4-12 2T. In 3DMark05 I got 21,xxx so I'm going to install '06 now and I'm gonna try to crank up the clock to...
Alright, I've overclocked some stuff before but it's been a while since I've gotten back into the game and I don't think I'm getting the performance I should... I just don't know where to start with the OC'ing on this board, here are my specs:
-E6750
-P5N-E SLI
-2GB (2x1GB) Crucial...
I wasn't getting the performance I wanted with my AMD setup, the 570 chipset wasn't up to par for two 8800 GT's, which was disappointing, especially when I didn't see much of an improvement over my two 8600GTS video cards.
I got the eVGA 680i LT motherboard, Intel E6750 processor and the...
Before I tell you the problem, this is my setup:
AMD X2 6000+
Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe
2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 at 1066Mhz
Two eVGA 8800GT's that i'm trying to get to run in SLI
Is there something I have to do on the actual motherboard to get this thing to run SLI? It seems like the...
Yeah, I'd rather run DX9 at awesome framerates then try to render DX10 at mediocre framerates at medium settings. I think I'll keep XP 'till I get me new cards, then I'll upgrade with my extra Xmas money.
That brings me to my next question... Should I stick with XP Pro or bite the bullet and buy Vista Premium? It's funny, with XP I score higher in 3dmark05 as far as the 3dmarks, but my cpu score is much lower, but in Vista my 3dmark score is lower, while my cpu score is MUCH higher.
I will...
I'm curious about this as far as drivers go because most of the time motherboards tend to have quite a few drivers that go with them, and I was wondering if it's easier to just install the new motherboard and then reformat upon reboot or to just update the drivers?
Right now I have:
MSI...
