    Luckily I got a decent deal on solar at my Vegas home which is much harder nowadays without the tax rebate.

    I have my server at home and can watch stuff easily from my phone or share my library easily with friends/family without having to share my account log in information.

    plex is easier to use for the average user and more widely available. Easier for non tech people to setup and use. That is why I use plex. or else I wouldve stayed on kodi over a decade ago.
